Here is a breif guide to using CS:GO CONFIGS.
Configs for counter-strike have been around since it's birth. They are small files that hold your personal game configuration data for csgo. You can find them in your CSGO Config directory. You will notice there are a lot of files in this directory, but for the most part, you will only be interested in 2 of these files.
This is your base config file. It holds all of the game configuration options that you will be interested, apart from your video settings, and a couple of commands that can only be run on the game launch. (Read about launch options below...)
As previously mentioned, this is your video configuration file. It holds data on your screen resolution, graphics settings ect.. This is it's whole purpose. Very handy, as it makes trying out, and completely switching to another persons settings extremely easy. This is why we plan to add Video.txt files to every pro profile here on CSGO Configs.
